Special Guest is John Taylor from Scotland.




John Taylor released his debut album "Bring the stars alive" in jan 2009 and started appearing at acoustic venues and festivals around Scotland,and in 2010 John released his follow up album "A place called paradise" and to promote it he had his first sell out show then headed off on his first Irish tour.John also sighned a deal this year with a large music library that supplies music to all the latest hollywood blockbusters. John has opened up for some great touring acts like madison Violet,Stacey Earl,Sam Carter ,Annie Keating and had his own headline show at this years Glasgow Americana Festival and to end the year off John is playing as part of "A song for autism at St andrews in the square,Glasgow ,work is in progress for John's third album as he continues to carve his name on the tree of folk roots and acoustic music, John's albums are available on itunes .. .. .. .. .... .... .




As Usual all aspiring songwriters are invited to attend and play there songs in front of a live audience. All types of music and singers are welcome, a limited amount of instruments will be available for use on the night.
The evening will feature open-mic songwriters doing short sets of two or three songs. There will also be an opportunity for getting a YouTube video of your performance made free of charge and uploaded to our site. Performances will also be recorded and and available to download later. Host for the sessions are songwriters Brian Connolly, Chris Wood and Sean MacLeod. SongWriter Sessions@Foley's bar takes place every Thursday of the month.
